Nicole Salame, MD, FAAD
Dr. Nicole Salame is a double board-certified and fellowship-trained dermatologist specializing in medical, procedural, and cosmetic dermatology, as well as Mohs micrographic surgery.
Originally from Los Angeles, Dr. Salame attended UCLA on a competitive scholarship, graduating Cum Laude with induction into the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society for excellence in the liberal arts and sciences. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from UC Irvine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society and recognized for achieving the highest number of honors in her medical school class. She completed her internal medicine internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and dermatology residency at Emory University, serving as Chief Resident of Cosmetic Dermatology. Furthering her expertise, Dr. Salame completed an ASDS-accredited fellowship in Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery at the prestigious SkinCare Physicians in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, where she trained under pioneers in lasers, cosmetic procedures, and dermatologic surgery. Dr. Salame is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD) and an active member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), and Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS). She has contributed extensively to dermatologic research, serving as a sub-investigator in clinical trials and a peer reviewer for JAMA Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. Her scholarly work includes over 30 peer reviewed publications and book chapters, along with more than 40 presentations at national conferences.
Dr. Salame’s clinical expertise spans medical and surgical dermatology, laser and energy-based treatments, neurotoxins, soft tissue augmentation (fillers), regenerative dermatology, and skincare based rejuvenation and prejuvenation. She takes a holistic, science-backed approach to skin health, integrating skincare, injectables, lasers, and energy-based treatments to achieve natural, balanced, and long-lasting aesthetic results at the cellular level. Outside of dermatology, Dr. Salame enjoys weightlifting, cycling, scuba diving, hot yoga, and traveling with her husband and their dog, Charlie.
